At the Moment is a new series I am starting on my blog featuring all my favorites at the moment. I use the word favorite so often that my friends have just accepted that I like everything. My cousin Claudia can attest to the fact that I have a new favorite song every week!

MUSIC:: Waiting by KIAN

Whenever someone asks me what kind of music I like, my response is alternative pop. Even so, my taste in music is constantly changing, which is probably why I have a new favorite song every week.

Australia holds a special place in my heart after I studied abroad in Melbourne, and this song is no exception as the artist is from Castlemaine, Victoria. Kian writes and sings from the heart about the beginning of a love story; we fill our thoughts with uncertainty and wonder if the other person has mutual feelings. His voice is entrancing, and I grow to love it even more after hearing it on repeat. You can find me turning up the volume and belting to this song whenever it comes on.

CELEBRITY:: Ali Wong on Ellen

I have been a fan of Ali Wong ever since seeing her on the television show American Housewife. She is the epitome of authenticity, hilarity, confidence, and honesty. In every appearance that she makes, she never fails to show her genuine self and to highlight the challenges and delights we face as humans, parents, and spouses. Her raw honesty allows the audience to connect with her and makes her more personable. It was such a humorous and memorable experience seeing her perform live on her Milk and Money Tour in December!

Here are some more of my favorite clips of Ali on Ellen:

BEVERAGE:: Fairlife Chocolate Milk

This one is for all my chocolate milk fanatics. I have decided that this will become my default beverage of choice to bring to social gatherings. The consistency is creamy and decadent, like a pure chocolate milkshake without all the calories and diabetes.

SMALL BUSINESS:: Food and Courage

Rachel, CEO and Founder of Food and Courage, is a dear friend of mine with a heart of gold. 10% of all profits made go directly to organizations dedicated to help end human trafficking. I ordered a dozen of her famous salted chocolate chip cookies and have been savoring every one down to the very last bite. I don’t think I can revert to any other chocolate chip cookie anymore!
