I am excited to share some of my February favorites with y’all!

MUSIC:: Echoes (Till We See The Other Side)

One of the ways I hear God speak most clearly and evidently is through worship music. This week I received a few rejection emails from companies that I’ve applied to, yet I felt overwhelmed with God’s glory and grace. As I read that they  decided to move forward with other applicants, I was reminded of this song and in particular the line, “I've got a feeling the darkness won't last very long.” God is my creator, provider, and comforter. I believe in all the plans and greatness He has envisioned.

PODCAST:: The Happiness Lab

Dr. Laurie Santos beautifully narrates the journey to leading a happy and fulfilling life. She interviews scientists and distinguished professionals to educate us on the aspects of happiness and offer us numerous practical steps to achieve our goals. One of my favorite things that I have learned is how important the need for social interaction is in our daily lives. I feel encouraged to strike up more conversations and meet new people knowing all the benefits it reaps. Connecting with someone by making eye contact and exchanging smiles are small, yet powerful ways that create an opportunity to become happier everyday.

BOOK:: The Rest of the Story by Sarah Dessen

I first discovered Sarah Dessen in the sixth grade on a summer reading list. Her novel Someone Like You was on the list of books to choose from, and I have been a hopeless romantic ever since. I took my time reading The Rest of the Story, knowing that I usually speed read her books and only end up craving more words to peruse. Sarah Dessen never fails to disappoint with her ability to capture emotions, adventures, personal growth, and romance. Her latest book is no different!

BEVERAGE:: Promised Land Midnight Chocolate

I have unintentionally turned this beverage part of the series into a chocolate milk taste test. I discovered Promised Land while shopping at Costco and felt the gravitational pull of its bold packaging that I knew I had to give it a try. It may be safe to say that I have a sweet tooth for all things chocolate! I am quite smitten with this chocolate milk because of its luscious flavor and incredibly creamy texture. I realize that I was raving about a different chocolate milk last month, so turns out my verdict is that Promised Land is better than Fairlife!

BEAUTY:: Eve Lom Rescue Mask

I have been using this face mask about once a week as a way to destress, relax, and self-care. Moreover, I have been on the hunt for a face mask that addresses my blemishes and treats my breakouts, and I am completely obsessed with this one! I get a natural glow out of this mask because it absorbs my naturally oily complexion, cleanses my skin deeply and thoroughly, and leaves my skin bright and sans-puffiness. I love including this mask as a part of my skincare regimen.
