9. Learned three new words and used them in a sentence:

  • Timorous: As drama camp progressed over the next four weeks, Bailey grew less and less timorous and gained newfound confidence to perform on stage.

  • Cacography: The waiter’s cacography caused a confusion of the customer’s intended take-out meal.

  • Solecism: Through our research, we found that recruiting managers were less likely to respond when the applicant committed solecism during the interview.
